If the younger ones want to grow food, it might get them fired up about gardens and plants and such. Can't be bad! Still it hasn't been too cold. Just ordered some gladiolus from Veseys -the picture was colourful. I used to order all kinds of unusual perennials from Spring Garden, McFayden and Dominion but the already-potted plants at the stores have put them out of business. It seems the young people aren't interested in gardening beyond a few veggies. I guess they are too stressed with work and affordable housing.
